Please read before publishing. This is a plain-English
starting point written from how the platform actually works, it is not
legal advice and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Sections on payments,
refunds, liability and data protection carry real legal consequences under
Nigerian law (including the Nigeria Data Protection Act). Have a qualified
lawyer review this before you rely on it, and fill in the blanks marked
[to confirm].
1. Who we are
Unique Concept LTD ("we", "us") operates this printing platform. We do two
things: we print work ourselves, and we connect customers with independent
print shops, graphic designers, machine engineers, delivery riders and
materials suppliers ("partners").
Where a partner produces your job, they are responsible for the work
itself. We are responsible for running the platform, holding your payment
until the agreed point, and helping resolve problems.
Contact: [to confirm, registered company name, RC number,
registered address, support email and phone]
2. Accounts
- You can browse and get quotes without an account. You need one to order, track and reorder.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Give accurate details. Wrong delivery addresses and phone numbers are the most common cause of failed deliveries, and we cannot fix an order we cannot deliver.
- Partner accounts (shop, designer, engineer, rider, supplier) are approved by us before they can work, and can be suspended if standards drop.
- You can delete your account at any time from your settings. Your personal details are erased. Records of completed orders, invoices and payments are kept because we are required to keep financial records.
3. How ordering works
- Fixed-price itemsthe price shown is the price, for the specification shown.
- Quoted workyou describe the job, verified shops quote, and you choose. A quote is an offer for the stated period; after it expires the price may change.
- Accepting a quote creates an order. Production begins after payment is confirmed, not before.
- Production times are working days and start from artwork approval, not from payment.
4. Pricing, quotes and payment
- Prices are in Nigerian Naira and include our platform service fee. Delivery is shown separately before you pay.
- Payments are handled by Paystack. We never see or store your full card details.
- We charge partners a platform commission on work booked through us. This is included in the price you are quoted, you are not charged it separately.
- Every amount is calculated on our servers. If a displayed price is obviously wrong through a technical error, we will tell you and cancel or re-quote rather than hold you to it.
5. Your artwork and files
- You keep ownership of everything you upload.
- You confirm you have the right to print it. Do not upload work you do not own or have permission to use, including other people's logos, photographs or designs.
- You give us and the assigned partner permission to use your files only to produce your order.
- Your files are not public. They are visible to us and to the partner producing your job.
- We print what you approve. Check spelling, sizes and colours at proof stage, reprints for approved errors are chargeable.
- Printed colour will not match a screen exactly. Screens emit light; ink does not.
6. Delivery
- Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Traffic, weather and access problems happen.
- Riders record proof of delivery, a photo of the handover and/or the name of whoever received it.
- Someone must be available to receive the order. Repeated failed attempts may be charged [to confirm, redelivery fee].
- You can collect from us instead, where the option is offered.
7. Cancellations, refunds and reprints
- Before production startscancel for a full refund.
- After production startsprinted work is made specifically for you and cannot be resold, so it is generally not refundable. We will always look at the individual case.
- If we get it wrongwrong item, wrong specification, defective printing, or damaged in transit, tell us within [to confirm, e.g. 48 hours] of delivery with photographs, and we will reprint or refund.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method. Timing depends on your bank.
8. Partners: shops, designers, engineers, riders, suppliers
- Partners are independent businesses, not our employees.
- Partners agree to keep customer details confidential and to use them only to complete the job.
- Work booked through the platform stays on the platform. Taking a customer introduced here off-platform to avoid commission is grounds for removal.
- Engineer callouts carry a standard callout fee of ₦1,000. Parts and labour are agreed after diagnosis.
- Payouts are released after the job is completed and any dispute window has passed, less commission.
9. Wallet, referrals and advertising
- Wallet money is a prepaid balance for use on the platform. It is not a bank account and earns no interest.
- Referral rewards are paid when someone you invited completes their first order. Self-referrals and fake accounts earn nothing.
- Advertising is prepaid: ₦2,000 per 100 views and ₦200 per click. Repeat views from the same person within a short window are not charged. A campaign never spends more than its budget.
- Advertising buys placement. It does not buy verification badges, ratings or review outcomes.
10. Using the platform properly
Do not use Unique Concept to produce or distribute:
- counterfeit money, documents, certificates or identity cards;
- anything that infringes someone else's trademark or copyright;
- content that is defamatory, or that incites violence or hatred;
- anything otherwise illegal under Nigerian law.
We may refuse or cancel any job on these grounds. We may also refuse work we consider unsafe or unreasonable.
11. Your data and privacy
- We collect what we need to run your order: your name, contact details, delivery address, order history and artwork.
- We share only what a partner needs to do the job. Print shops do not receive your phone number or address, riders do, for delivery.
- Rider location sharing runs only while a delivery is active and stops automatically on completion.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- You may request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it. [to confirm, data protection contact and response time under the Nigeria Data Protection Act]
12. Our responsibility, and its limits
- We will do what we say: run the platform, hold your payment until the agreed point, and act fairly if something goes wrong.
- Where a partner produces your job, they are responsible for the quality of that work. We will help you resolve it.
- Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses, for example lost business because an event ran without its banner. [to confirm with a lawyer]
- Nothing here removes rights you have under Nigerian consumer law.
13. Changes and disputes
- We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date, and where it matters we will tell you directly.
- If something goes wrong, contact us first, most problems are settled quickly.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. [to confirm, dispute venue / arbitration]
Questions about these terms? Contact us and ask, we would rather explain
than have you agree to something you do not understand.
